Magomed Ankalaev, the UFC champion in the light heavyweight division, commented on the rematch with Alex Pereira.
“Well, I think the rematch will go much easier than the first fight. Statistics show that stepping into rematches against me is dangerous. I think this will be confirmed as well. I really want Alex to come into this fight fully prepared, so there will be no questions about the result afterward. I don’t want to hear talks like last time, about him not being ready or something not being done. I want him to come in in great shape so that after our fight there will be no excuses.”
