John Fury believes Tyson was wronged in both fights with Usyk

John Fury, father of the former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is convinced that in reality his son defeated Oleksandr Usyk in both of their matches.

“First of all, he had his belts stolen, right? What can I say? When someone pays you a lot of money, it seems they will be upset if you remain champion, don’t you think? I believe, perhaps, they didn’t want to pay Tyson the same amount of money. Maybe they couldn’t afford to pay him that much again if he remained champion. As for me, he won both fights,” said Fury Senior to Seconds Out.

Let us remind you that in the first fight, Fury lost to Usyk by split decision, while in the second fight—by unanimous decision.
