Belal Muhammad spoke about the reasons for the conflict with Kamaru Usman.

“He said: ‘Everything you do, I do better than you.’ To which I replied: ‘But you didn’t take the kick to the head better than me.’ And I think that just provoked him. He said after that: ‘I don’t play these games, man, tell me that to my face. To my face? We’re right in front of each other,’”— Muhammad’s words are quoted by the Champ RDS portal on its social media page.
