Garry will back up the fight of Muhammad and Della Maddalena

Top welterweight UFC Ian Garry commented on his victory over Carlos Prates and also stated that he will be the backup participant for the title fight between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena, which will take place on May 10 at UFC 315 in Montreal, Canada.

“Carlos is a legend, I respect him, he had a great winning streak, but I said I would outclass him, and I believe I did.

My main goal in this game is to prove that I am a real fighter. I have the blood of Irish warriors in me. And what’s next? I came out in 21 days against Shavkat, in 25 days against Carlos, and in two weeks I will fly to Canada and officially back up the title fight. And I am the next contender!”, Garry stated after the fight.

Let’s remember, Garry won against Prates by unanimous decision of the judges.
