Alex Volkanovski commented on defeating Diego Lopez and winning the UFC featherweight championship belt.

"It's great to be back. I've never felt so much love for myself before. All week I've been saying, even before I went to the fight I said on camera that I promise my daughters I'll get the belt back, but now I think it's not about the belt. My message is that a lot of people wrote me off. Two losses, two knockouts, the curse of 35 years, long downtime, but I did it again. Did it against Diego Lopez, who came out and put on a great fight," Volkanovski said.
