White has spoken out about Topuria's fight announcement

UFC CEO Dana White cleared the air on the announcement of the next fight for Elijah Topuria, who recently vacated his featherweight championship belt and moved up to the lightweight division.

"Regarding the current champion, Elijah Topuria moving up to lightweight - we'll announce his next fight when he's ready," White said during a live social media broadcast.
