Chael Sonnen, former UFC fighter and current commentator and analyst, has named a fighter who could become the promotion's three-weight champion.
"Pereira is the only guy I believe can become a three-weight champion. However, I don't see the point in him moving up to heavyweight just so he can change categories. It looks like he's going to be offered a rematch with Ankalaev. If Alex moves up to heavyweight, at best he will be offered a title fight there. My belief in Pereira moving up to heavyweight is based on the fact that he could be a bargaining chip on the chessboard...," Sonnen was quoted as saying by Bloody Elbow.
