American mixed martial arts veteran and former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson made a prediction for the upcoming bout between welterweight champion Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev.
The fight will headline UFC 313, which takes place on the night of March 9 in Las Vegas, USA.
"There are people who have this innate strength in their hands. I don't know where it comes from. But I've sparred with guys who knocked me out with one punch. And Alex has that power, that strength. If you get a little wrong, a little scared, Pereira's gonna make you pay for it. That's very dangerous. Ancalaev says he's going to fight Pereira in the clinch. His only chance is to pin Alex against the cage. But Pereira only knows one direction - forward. I'm definitely betting on Alex to win. And you guys don't be stupid," Thompson stated on his YouTube channel.
