Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker assessed the balance of power in the upcoming bout between current bantamweight belt holder Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev.
"It's hard to say who will win. Because Pereira has already cleared a lot of questions, but he hasn't been tested by a real fighter yet. I wouldn't call Ancalaev a 100 percent fighter. But I feel like Magomed will try to put Pereira on the ground for all 25 minutes. And then it's going to be a long night for Alex. We just have to stop Pereira by putting him on his back. That's the key to beating the Brazilian," Whittaker told Submission Radio.
Recall that Ancalaev and Pereira will meet in the main event of UFC 313, which will be held on March 8 in Las Vegas, USA.
