Makhachev will not refuse the fight with Topuria

Javier Mendes, coach of UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, said that his charge will not refuse a fight with Elijah Topuria.

"Islam only needs two months to prepare for a fight with any opponent. He doesn't care who he fights. He won't say 'no' to a fight with Elijah. If it's offered, if it's their offer to Islam, he'll take the fight. That's just the kind of man he is, a true warrior. He's a champion, he's number one for a reason. We shouldn't refuse to fight anyone they put up against us."
