British flyweight division fighter Muhammed Mokaev has given a possible reason for his dismissal from the UFC.
"I still don't understand the situation between me and the UFC management. Of course, I had a showdown with Manel Capa at the hotel and stuff, but I really don't know [why I was fired]. Maybe there was a misunderstanding between my team and the UFC. People were saying I was negotiating with the PFL, which I never did. Maybe the matchmakers thought my style wasn't as exciting as they wanted to see," Mokaev said in an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show YouTube channel.
