Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington once again touched on a potential bout with lower division belt holder Islam Makhachev.
"Islam has mentioned that he wants to move up to welterweight and fight me. But in reality, he doesn't want to. He knows I'm not a good match for him stylistically. It's all just idle talk. And I will not go down to lightweight and bully these little guys," - said Covington on his YouTube channel.
Recall that Covington last fought in December, losing early to Joaquin Buckley.
