Retired American MMA fighter, now commentator and analyst Chel Sonnen believes that top mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor may have had mental health issues as a result of his defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
"It may have been the defeat to Khabib that triggered Conor's PTSD and ruined his life. Envy and jealousy can be very real feelings. McGregor tried to attack Khabib in a variety of ways. Conor has repeatedly made unflattering remarks about Khabib, and it's hard to say whether his words have become harsher or less harsh afterward than before. McGregor's aggressive behavior towards Nurmagomedov in general led to the fact that after the incident with the bus he was handcuffed and brought to court," Sonnen said in his podcast.
Recall that in 2018, McGregor lost to Nurmagomedov by sub-match.
