Islam Makhachev, UFC lightweight champion, commented on the cancelation of the fight with Tsarukyan, as well as the appointment of a new opponent in the person of Renato Moicano.

"What does that title represent? It means you're the best in the world, and if you're the best in the world, it doesn't matter who they put up against you. What can I say? No? Never! Let's do it! Dana White, now you know what it means to be the best P4P fighter in the world."
