Merab Dvalishvili, the UFC lightweight champion, has accused his next opponent Umar Nurmagomedov of lying.
"He's lying. He's a lying guy, and I don't believe him. He makes it look like he has a serious injury, but he won't talk about it. It's all bullshit. Every professional fighter has injuries, but he's lying. I saw him hitting the sack when he came to Las Vegas - you can see it in the video he posted. If you have arm problems, you can't hit a bag the way he did. I think he's mentioning the injury to justify himself in advance. It's not surprising because I'm going to finish him off."
