Covington: "I wouldn't rule out a fight with Strickland."

Former UFC interim welterweight belt holder Colby Covington has admitted that he could fight former division champion above Sean Strickland.

"I wouldn't rule out moving up to the middle division and fighting Strickland. I don't think Shawn is anything special. He has a very limited arsenal. He's just a kickboxer with pretty good cardio," Covington told Submission Radio.

As a reminder, Strickland will have a title rematch with Dricus Du Plessis on Feb. 9 at UFC 312 in Sydney, Australia.
