Khabib Nurmagomedov responded to Merab Dvalishvili, who earlier claimed that his brother Umar got a title fight because of his last name.
"About the gift to Umar - his record is 18-0 and he's on a six-fight winning streak in the UFC. And they gave him a very difficult opponent in his previous fight - a five-round, main event against Corey Sandhagen. I think Umar deserves a title shot, and I don't know why Merab is nervous. Umar is not here because he's my relative. He's here because he's 18-0 and 6-0 in the UFC. Umar wants to build his legacy, and he's going to show why Merab is nervous on Jan. 18."
