Diego Lopez, the UFC's No. 3 ranked welterweight, has decided to challenge the organization's former featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski.

"Alex, if Elijah moves up to lightweight, let's meet in the octagon. You can choose the date and place," wrote the Brazilian in social network, addressing the Australian.

Recall, earlier Topuria said that he plans to leave the championship belt vacant and move up to lightweight.
