Dvalishvili: "Nurmagomedov didn't go through tough fights"

UFC lightweight champion Merab Dvalishvili once again noted that Umar Nurmagomedov was an undeserved challenger for his belt.

"He didn't go through the hard fights. You have to fight the best of the best. And he only fought Sandhagen, who has no fight. Yes, he's a good fighter, but you have to fight everybody to prove you're worthy. But I gave the people what they want. I gave the UFC what they want. We'll see, I like challenges," Dvalishvili said at the press conference.

Recall that the fight Dvalishvili - Nurmagomedov will take place on January 18 at UFC 311 in Los Angeles, USA.
