Analyst and commentator Chael Sonnen has spoken out about the future continuation of Jon Jones' career.
"The UFC always stands its ground - Jon has two options: fight Tom or he won't fight on principle. And there are no other options. In fact, there was a guy who could have been a third option. That's Alex Pereira.
Dana completely dismissed that, and when the bookies put Jones as the insane favorite, that fight stopped being discussed. So Jon can sit out and not fight - that's true. But he won't be in a position where he could fight someone else. He's basically going to have to make a choice - either retire or fight Tom Aspinall," Sonnen was quoted as saying by BJ Penn.
