Cyril Gun, former interim UFC heavyweight champion, revealed why he lost to Jon Jones.

"I can clearly see that mentally I wasn't in the fight that night. I felt a complete lack of understanding of what was going on. I've never done anything like that in my life. I've never fought like that. The distance control, the movement, the anticipation, all the things I love to use so much - it was nothing. But looking back, I tell myself that the experience was rewarding. It helped me focus on myself again, and it gave me the spirit of vengeance, gave me the spirit of competition."
