UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones talked about the toughest episode of his fighting career.
"I fought Dominick Reyes, and it was in the first round - he charged at my face with his leg from the turnaround and kicked me in the stomach, and then I was crouched on the canvas - technically, it was a knockdown. He gave me a full-court press. He was the only person other than Alexander Gustafsson to do that to me. I remember thinking at the time, 'Damn, you've met a worthy opponent, John - you've had a great career, so just don't let him knock you out. Let him do his thing.' It was a decision to give up, to give up resistance. But then another voice, equally clear, said, 'To hell with it - fight on!'"
