Undefeated UFC middleweight Khamzat Chimaev expressed hope that if he defeats former champion Robert Whittaker, the promotion's management will give him a title shot.
"Look, this is the third time I've had to fight for mandatory challenger status. I've already fought Gilbert Burns for that status, then I had one with Kamaru Usman, and now Whittaker. Hopefully, this time it will really come down to business," - quotes Chimaev Red Corner MMA.
Recall that Whittaker and Chimaev will fight on October 26 at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
