Sandhagen: "Figueredo doesn't want to fight me now or in December"

Top American UFC lightweight fighter Corey Sandhagen has complained that he is having trouble finding an opponent.

"Figgy turned down the fight in September. That sucks, I believed in him. I'm offended that he doesn't want to fight me now or in December. Apparently he prefers easier fights. I don't know what his plan is.

It's a shame O'Malley's going to have surgery. I was hoping to fight him, it would have been a great gift for the fans. Maybe we'll see each other again in the future. I'm not waiting for Sean until next summer. I like to fight and I just did a year off from doing nothing. I want to get an opponent for December, but it's hardly realistic," Sandhagen told Fanatics View.

Recall that Sandhagen last fought in early August, losing by unanimous decision of judges to Umar Nurmagomedov.
