Former UFC featherweight champion Aleksander Volkanovski shared his thoughts on his return to the octagon.
"My next fight will definitely be a title fight, but anything can happen. Suddenly Max and Elijah will get injured in the fight. Is an interim title fight with someone like Lopez a possibility? You never know what's going to happen, so we'll see.
What if they can't make the show anytime soon or Max wins, moves up to lightweight and has a BMF bout? Will the interim belt be organized then? I haven't really discussed it, but I'll go back to the UFC and talk to them. All I know is that my next fight will be a title fight," Volkanovski said on his YouTube channel.
Recall that Volkanovski has not competed since February, when he was knocked out by Elijah Topuria and lost his title.
