Tom Aspinall, interim UFC heavyweight champion, reacted to the official announcement of the fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.
"Their fight has finally been made official - on November 16 at Madison Square Garden Arena in New York City, the title will finally be on the line. Of course, I will be there to watch these two gentlemen fight in person. I've told the UFC - if someone gets injured, or there's another reason that keeps either of them out of the fight, I'll be ready. If need be, I'll fight both of them on the same night. Give me my undisputed title. In my opinion, there shouldn't be two champions in the same weight class. That shouldn't happen in the UFC, or in mixed martial arts in general. There's only one top guy in each division, and in the heavyweight division that's me. So of course I'm going to fight the winner."
