Sekhudo: "Dvalishvili's championship will end before it has begun"

Titled American mixed martial arts veteran Henry Sejudo believes newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Merab Dvalishvili will not be able to defend his belt if Umar Nurmagomedov is named as the next challenger.

"What's next for Merab? He's talking about the fight with Figueredo, the fight against Petr Yan. But there is only one right opponent for Dvalishvili - it's Umar Nurmagomedov. And Merab's championship will be over before it even starts. Umar is too dangerous. Umar can take Merab down, control him on the ground. Nurmagomedov has a great jab, a great sense of distance.

And when Merab was asked about Umar in the octagon, "What do you think about your fight?" Dvalishvili started saying, "Oh, I love the UFC, I love Dane White, let's make America great again." He just didn't answer the question! Merab respects Umar and feels he's in trouble. His career as champion will be over right after the fight against Umar," Sehudo said on the YouTube show Pound4Pound.

Dvalishvili won the title last weekend by defeating Sean O'Malley on points in the main event of UFC 306 in Las Vegas, USA.
