Dvalishvili: "If I die becoming a champion, I won't care"

UFC flyweight title challenger Merab Dvalishvili talked about his attitude towards his upcoming fight with champion Sean O'Malley.

The Georgian and the American will fight in the main event of UFC 306, which will take place on the night of September 15 in Las Vegas, USA.

"The fighters have only one goal - to become the UFC champion. After this, I'm being honest: if I die, I don't care. I can't even imagine wearing the championship belt, man. But I want to feel it for real and I'll do anything for it. I don't even want to dream about it.

I don't know what I'm gonna say, I don't know what I'm gonna do when I become champion. But one thing I know for sure is that I will be very happy. I'm going to do a lot of good things with the UFC belt. I want to go all over the world and show people that I'm a regular guy, a small man, but a very hard worker. And if I worked hard and got the UFC belt, you can do it too. The main thing is to work hard and follow your dreams," MMA News quotes Dvalishvili as saying.
