UFC flyweight title challenger Merab Dvalishvili said he intends to teach champion Sean O'Malley a lesson for making disrespectful remarks about Georgians.
Earlier, the American suggested that everyone in Georgia is a "midget" based on Merab's stunted stature.
"Why do I make so many jokes? We are Georgians, we are like that by nature. We are friendly people, we like to laugh. As for O'Malley's 'jokes' - if you don't respect my country, you'll have to pay for it. Because I'm willing to die for my country. Nothing personal, just business. We will meet in the octagon and he will pay for his words. I will punish him," Dvalishvili said in an interview with the New York Post.
Recall that O'Malley and Dvalishvili will fight on September 14 at UFC 306 in Las Vegas, USA.
