"Everything is at stake." White spoke out about the Du Plessis-Adesanya fight

UFC CEO Dana White shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between the promotion's middleweight division champion Dricus Du Plessis and former belt holder Israel Adesanya.

"Both Adesanya and Dricus have accomplished a lot. This is one of those situations where everything is on the line for both guys. Especially when you take into account the fact that they dislike each other so much. If du Plessis can beat Izzy and bring the belt back to South Africa, we'll have a tournament there. If Izzy wins and captures the title, it will be very important for him and his legacy," White said at the press conference.

As a reminder, Du Plessis and Adesanya will headline UFC 305, which takes place on the night of August 18 in Perth, Australia.
