Corey Sandhagen, the UFC's lightest division fighter, has stated his desire to beat Umar Nurmagomedov and apologize to him and Khabib afterwards.
"I'm going to prove I'm better than Umar. On Saturday, I plan to shake Khabib's hand, shake Umar's hand, apologize and say, 'Sorry I had to beat you.' He's going to have to win a couple more fights and we can fight for the title - that's how I see it. I've had that scenario in my head for the last twelve weeks."
As a reminder, Sandhagen's fight with Nurmagomedov will headline UFC ON ABC 7 as early as tonight.
