In typical fashion, former UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington has spoken out about newly crowned full-fledged belt holder Belal Muhammad.

Muhammad won a split decision over Leon Edwards on July 27 at UFC 304 in Manchester, United Kingdom.

"I feel sorry for the fans as they didn't get to enjoy the main event fight between Leon and Belal. It was a fight between two highly rated bums. Belal is a genuine coward. He challenged me when I was already signed for a title fight. He never challenged me again because he knew what I would do to him. Belal's a goddamn coward. If we fight, he won't be a champion anymore, he won't be a man, because his manhood will be my prey," Bloody Elbow quoted the American as saying.
