Newly crowned UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad believes a rematch with former belt holder Leon Edwards is unnecessary.
Muhammad defeated Edwards by unanimous decision from the judges in the main event of UFC 304 this past weekend in Manchester, United Kingdom.
"I'll give him a rematch in three years. Let him come back. As far as I'm concerned, it was a one-sided fight. There's no need for a rematch. I don't think he had a championship long enough to be eligible for a rematch. I came to his hometown to his people and fought in enemy territory," Muhammad said at the press conference.
