Newly crowned UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad has declared himself ready to make the first defense of his title against Shavkat Rakhmonov.
"A fight with Rakhmonov? Yes, of course. I've never refused to fight. A lot of people didn't agree to fight me, but I never do that. I'm on top now, and this matchup will cement my legacy as the best welterweight in history. I'm not going to challenge random no-names being the champion," Muhammad said at the press conference.
We will remind, on the night of July 28 at UFC 304 in Manchester, UK, Muhammad defeated Leon Edwards on points.
