Top UFC American heavyweight Curtis Blades believes welterweight division titleholder Alex Pereira should not move up in weight.
"It's a bad idea - I'm just going to destroy Alex Pereira. But it's not because he's not good enough, it's just that I'm significantly heavier. It's a heavyweight division where weight matters. It's not about skill," Blades said at the press conference before UFC 304.
Recall that Blades will fight interim champion Tom Aspinall on the night of July 28. The meeting will take place as part of the UFC 304 show in Manchester, UK.
