Former UFC featherweight champion Aleksander Volkanovski analyzed the upcoming bout between interim heavyweight division belt holder Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blades.
The Brit and the American will fight at UFC 304, which takes place on the night of July 28 in Manchester.
"Curtis is a great wrestler and a very difficult opponent for any heavyweight because his base is wrestling. He's the kind of guy who can beat any opponent. His striking technique has progressed with each fight, but many people can count his punches and catch him on the counter.
Aspinall, on the other hand, is a fighter who also has a lot of wrestling experience behind him, and is fast and agile enough for the heavyweight division. He's great at picking his distance and timing. He has a good standup and good grappling as well. Curtis doesn't deserve to be put out as an underdog in this fight. However, in my opinion, due to Aspinall's skills and wrestling experience, Aspinall will win. My favorite in this fight is Tom," Bloody Elbow quoted Wolkanowski as saying.
