Former interim WBO heavyweight champion Zhang Zhilei has assessed UFC light heavyweight division titleholder Alex Pereira's chances in boxing.
"We sparred with him once. Four rounds, but I had two other guys in front of him. Alex is a good boxer. He has the right skills - great speed and power punches. I watch him, in the UFC he dominates everyone without a fight.
I think Alex could move up to heavyweight. He has enough power and strength to do damage to the big boys as well. I would love to have him in my training camp. It's a great opportunity to get a different perspective on my business. We can both learn something from each other," Zhilei said on The MMA Hour show.
