Brazilian UFC heavyweight Jailton Almeida has challenged Cyril Gagne, the promotion's former interim featherweight champion.
"He's pretty much out of options. It's just me and Volkov, and he's already beaten Volkov once in a very boring fight. If they have a rematch - nothing will change, the fight will again be tactics-oriented and slow. The Almeida vs. Gan fight will definitely end early. I'll be able to take Gan down and beat him with a takedown. He will try to work in the stand-up, working in his usual manner. Gan has already fought Spivak, whose style is similar to mine. So everything is in Cyril's hands," Almeida was quoted by MMA Fighting.
