Strickland insists he should be the one to fight the winner of the Du Plessis - Adesanya fight

UFC middleweight Sean Strickland has stated that he should be the one to fight the winner of the Dricus du Plessis and Israel Adesanya fight. Strickland also added that Robert Whittaker shouldn't beat him to it.

"The thought of Whittaker getting a title fight before me is fucking wild. Bro, you're 0-3 (in fights with du Plessis and Adesanya. - note).... With a stoppage, huh. I beat both of those assholes. Do ratings matter! Do the right thing, UFC," Strickland wrote on social network X.

As a reminder, Du Plessis' bout with Adesanya will take place on August 17 as part of UFC 305.
