"We trained together with Shavkat. I have nothing but respect for him. But I want to be the first to succeed in a fight with him. I have the understanding that I can do it," Ian said at the press conference after UFC 303.
Shawkat responded to that challenge:
"Ian seems to have forgotten what was going on with him in those workouts. I wouldn't mind refreshing his memories in the future," Nomad wrote on his social media.
