UFC middleweight Roman Dolidze shared his opinion on a possible showdown between the promotion's flyweight champion Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili.
"For me, Merab Dvalishvili is already a champion - he deserved it a long time ago. There were some nuances, because of Aljamain Sterling among others, and he wasn't given that opportunity. But he forcefully forced the organization to give him a chance to fight for the title.
But if we're talking about fighting a champion, stylistically it's a good fight for Merab. I don't know what the champion has to do to stop Merab's pressure. Of course, these are fights, anything is possible here. We don't know what can happen, but I give stylistic preference to Merab," Dolidze said.
