Dustin Porier, former interim UFC lightweight champion, has expressed confidence that the promotion's former two-weight champion Conor McGregor will return to the octagon stronger.
"Just looking at Conor's career, what he's accomplished, you can tell this man has a strong mindset. If his body allows him to perform as well as he can, I think he'll come back stronger," ESPN quoted Puryear as saying.
Recall, June 29, McGregor was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler, but injured his pinky finger and withdrew from the fight.
