Tsarukyan received a 9-month disqualification for assaulting a fan

Obviously, the nine-month suspension will prevent Tsarukyan from fighting again in 2024, which could be disastrous given the rumors that he will have a lightweight title fight against Islam Makhachev, with all signs pointing to a UFC tournament in Abu Dhabi in October.

The good news is that Tsarukyan can get his suspension reduced to six months - and it will expire by Oct. 13, with the UFC tournament scheduled for Oct. 26 - provided the 27-year-old lightweight releases a video as part of the company's anti-bullying campaign.

Recall that Tsarukyan defeated Charles Oliveira by split decision of the judges at UFC 300.
