"It really hurts." McGregor spoke about the injury that derailed his fight with Chandler

Former UFC champion in two weight classes Conor McGregor spoke about his injury that led to the cancelation of his bout against Michael Chandler.

The fighters were scheduled to fight on June 29 in the main event of UFC 303 in Las Vegas, USA, but the Irishman withdrew due to a fractured pinky toe.

"The injury is a nuisance. It hurts a lot. I'm not going to lie to you. It really, really hurts. Probably even more painful than when I broke my leg. And I'll tell you why. Because the foot is at least bandaged, and I had no access to it. And the foot is always open," McGregor told Severe MMA.
