Chimaev was scheduled to fight Robert Whittaker at yesterday's UFC on ABC 6 event in Saudi Arabia, but pulled out due to health issues.
"When is Chimaev coming back? I have no idea. We'll see what happens next. We'll try to move his fight to the tournament in Abu Dhabi. Maybe he can perform there," White said at the press conference.
It should be noted that the UFC plans to hold at least two tournaments in Abu Dhabi this year. The UFC Fight Night Series show is scheduled for Aug. 3, and the numbered 308 event will take place in October.
