Aliskerov spoke about the problems before the fight with Whittaker

UFC middleweight Ikram Aliskerov talked about the problems he had before his fight with Robert Whittaker.

"By the time Chimaev's withdrawal became known, I had stopped dropping weight and drinking water. I had about five more pounds to lose. But then I was told, 'You're probably going to fight Rob.' So I had to keep the weight off for the next few days while flying to Riyadh. Now I have to start drinking water again and then get rid of it. It's a very long time. Now I'm not so much thinking about the fight as I am thinking about eating properly. But that's what we do. We're fighters and that's our life. I even wrote on my social media, "Anybody, anywhere, anytime." That's the motto I live by. If your goal is to fight the best, you have to follow it. I was ready for it," - quotes the words of Ikram portal MMAJunkie.

Recall, Whittaker's bout with Aliskerov will take place on June 22 in Saudi Arabia.
