UFC CEO Dana White has spoken out about Michael Chandler, who was left without an opponent following Conor McGregor's withdrawal from UFC 303.
"Poor Chandler... I think he wants to wait for Conor. You know, we'll do whatever he wants for Michael. If he asks for a fight this summer, we'll make it happen. He's one of the best athletes I've worked with. He's a very good person.
I like Michael a lot. Whatever he wants to do, we'll work something out for him. He's a really great guy," White said in an interview with The Jim Rome Show.
Recall that due to the wait for a box office fight with McGregor, Chandler has been idle since November 2022.
