AKA Hall head coach Javier Mendes gave his prediction for the upcoming fight between his charge Umar Nurmagomedov and Corey Sandhagen.
"We will win this fight. Umar will show everyone who is the future champion. Young Eagle will be the new champion, I guarantee it. Corey is a tough opponent, but we will get past him. Umar is talented in all aspects of MMA, as is Makhachev. So no matter where the fight goes, Umar will succeed. Umar will win in the stand-up, he will win on the ground," Mendes said in an interview with The Schmo.
Recall, the fight between Nurmagomedov and Sandhagen will take place on August 3 in Abu Dhabi.
