Coach O'Malley sees nothing wrong with McGregor going to a nightclub

Tim Welch, coach of UFC champion Sean O'Malley, reacted to the news that Conor McGregor was spotted at a nightclub while preparing for his fight with Michael Chandler.

"Conor is having fun at the club and relaxing. Who knows if he drinks alcohol in those moments. But don't think that during camp fighters only train and then sit in a room and stare at the wall thinking about the fight. Sometimes you can let off a little bit of steam. I mean, it's Conor McGregor, he'll be fine. Judging by the training video, his left leg isn't bothering him. Conor is working on his left knee in case Chandler lunges with his right hand. That's a good option. In general, McGregor's partners look a little scared. And Conor himself stalks them like a hunter," Welch is quoted by Bloody Elbow.
