Stephen A. Smith, a well-known TV analyst with ESPN, explained why there is no point in a fight between UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and the promotion's former two-division champion Conor McGregor.
"I was in Las Vegas and saw with my own eyes Conor's fight with Khabib. It was unreal, one of the most impressive sports shows of my life. But what we learned from that fight was that you can't put Conor against a fighter. It doesn't make sense. Makhachev is very good, he's special. But he will not fight Conor in the rack," - said Smith in the program First Take.
Recall, Khabib won early against McGregor, forcing him to surrender in the fourth round.
